how to tell your car has head work.

   when i bought my car it was stickerd up with lad stickers.
   
   now iv been told they dont give them out easily.
   
   So i was just wondering how can i tell if it has headwork ??

   phone up lad and ask if they can tell you based on the number plate or previous owners name.
   
   Short of taking the inlet manifold off and having a look down the ports theres not a lot else you can do.

   sometimes they'll mark the head with some sort of scribbing to detail that some form of work has been done, maybe a reference number

   will give them a ring in the morning. and i cant say iv looked for any marks or grinding so il do that when i get the chance. cheers fellas
