rear headrests

   hi guys,
   
   can you fit rear head rests in a VTR? and how wud i do this?
   
   the reason for this is i think they make it look better and protects my rear speakers from little buggers in back who play with them lol (they call themselves men and they broke my last speakers by spilling coke on them!

   am not sure if saxos ever came with rear seat head rests, but you could swap your current seats with that of a peugeot 106, as models such as the 106 GTi did have rear headrests and parts between the two cars are interchangeable.

   i think vtr's came with rear head rest's iirc
   
   so if they did just swap the seats.

   I thought it was only the VTS that came with rear head rests...?

   thanks guys, yes i will have a look for some interior and the peugeot 106 interchangable thing is a really good idea will let you know what i find

   vts seats came with rear headrests. you need the split 60/40 rear seats from a vts/106. the green/grey stripy ones from a mk1 vts had them and also the mk2 vts (purple/grey) velour ones had the small low down headrests. if you change from a rear bench to split seats, you need the centre bracket for the split

   thread hi jack i have just bought a vts interior as my furio one was shanked lol. the centre for the bracket were they welded to the car? or can i go down the scrappy and get one? cheers

   my interior has no holes for headrests, but i slip them inbetween the rear bench and parcel shelf ,

    When you take off the bottom seats you`ll see a bracket at each end then 2 bolts near the middle go to the scrappy get 2 brackets and 2 nuts sorted.

    this is the middle bracket for fitting split seats which are the ones with headrests
    
    part number from citroen/peugeot dealers
    Mounting Bracket (Number 5) - 8957G3 £10.02p each including VAT

    its only the vts that come with rear headrests but you can buy 106 GTI stright fit into the saxo they have rear headrests
