Brake knocking??

1. S40AXO L-plater Joined: Apr 2010 Cambridgeshire Posts: 60 106, Merc c-class and now Citreon Saxo VTR

   hey guys, when i brake i hear a fast knocking which slows down as i brake coming from the NSF wheel, i recently had the wheel bearing done at a garage and they replaced the disc too. does anyone what it could be? or if its nothing to do with that?. Thanks let me kno!!

   it only does it when i brake tho.. cud it still be the case?

   Could be something as simple as a stone stuck in the brake calliper, the reason I said driveshaft was because its how my driveshaft started to mess up. Sounded very similar.
