Hi , I changed the gearbox on my Vts on Monday , yesterday I took it for a test drive and it was fine for about 10 miles , so I thought id try and test the car at high speed so I went on the motorway and was doing 70mph , after about 5 miles I felt a judder through the steering wheel and thought nothing much of it. After a couple of minutes this judder had become so strong I thought I had a flat tyre so i pulled over on the hard shoulder. When I got out there tyres weree fine so I looked under the bonnet and my gearbox oil was pouring out. So i got it towed back home and jacked it up , but there was no evidence of anything wrong, the drain plugs were in the gearbox , the driveshafts were secure in the gearbox and the car drives .... does anybody have any ideas whatsoever..... the only possible thing I could think of is the pins that secure the bearing into the housing on the drivers side driveshaft are missing. Does anybody have any ideas ??
Wtf is wrong with my Vts

#2What gearbox did you fit and what driveshafts did you use?
Did you have the two nuts and bolts on the bearing carrier secured? -
#3a vts gearbox and the orignal driveshafts that were on it and no im trying to get some bolts top try and secure the bearing

#4If you mean you havnt got any bearing carrier bolts in at the moment, then its probably that then, the shaft just slid out a lil bit draining the oil, untill there was none left which makes it look like nothings wrong. Get some in and should be job done
