Squeaky Clutch

What could this be guys and girls?

Normally it happens when the engine is running and not running..foot to the floor and an annoying squeak!

Anyone else had the same problem, anything i can do to resolve?

I had this a while ago and I just put some wd40 on the clutch arm, seemed to work quite well.

It'll be the release clutch bearing mate, you need a new clutch.

It will drive for the next 1 or so ok probably but it'll get worse and eventually you won't be able to change gear. Better taking it to a garage now and getting the clutch changed.

    Not entirely true mate...
I drove around with my bearing wearing for 15months and it was fine. It was badly worn when i came to do it though. You dont 'need' a new clutch you can buy the bearing separate but its best to change the clutch as while you got the box off, you may aswel do it.

I wouldnt be sure it was your bearing anyway.
Especially if it happens when the car is off which tells you its not the bearing.
Try some wd40 on the clutch arm as mentioned. Get someone to depress your clutch and stick your head in the engine and see if you can hear where its coming from.

Common flaw all saxo's do it. 1 person sprays WD40 on the clutch cable near the battery while another person pushes the clutch in and out

if it is the cable spray some WD on it, do you mean a constant squeak when the peddle is depressed, or a squeak when pressing the peddle up and down repeatedly?

Its not constant, its like when you press down and up repeatedly..

Happens hot and cold, clutch feels ok to drive?
