lift the cluch and a noise comes from left hand side

   hi there i was out at the car the day and when i was going to the shop i noticed that when i lift the cluch up a noise comes from the front left wheel side not got a clue what it is i dont know if it happens when i move off as i cant hear it when i move because of the magnex from cat back exhaust i just hear it when i lit the cluch out after puting it inta 1st.
   
   any ideas????

   Sounds like a Gearbox issue to me?
