Vacume + volt gauge how to wire up???

    Hi guys
    does anyone know how to or know a guide to wireing up these 2 gauges in the car? i have already orderd my gauges from hong kong and my pods so just going to use the time now to find out how to do it

    theyll be full instructions bud in packet, vacumm uses breather on inlet and volt guage just wires into any circuit on car mines into radio as not got headunit

    cheers mate do i have to wire any of them from some ignition thing so they turn off when the car is turned off

    i wired my volt gauage to the electric window power and works fine

    whats the point of the volt gauge, isit to check when it drops??

    think that may be my safer way to power it instead of cutting up the ignition

    my volt meter is wired into the dizzy blocks for my amps. also turns on and off with my HU.

    all ma gauges are wired into the back of the sterio. all the wires you need are there

    do you know what colour wire i will need to use at the back of the stereo?

    will it not be the red(positive) and black(negative)?

    the gauges usually need a positive, a negative and a illumination wire.

    illumination is for when you turn your headlights on ,the gauges get dimmer so they don`t blind you at night.

    depending on what sterio you have in the car , aftermarket ones usually have a sticker on the sterio telling you what each wire is. and its just a case of connecting to them.

    what i did with mines is connected the 3 gauges together at the back of the gauge holder as the cables are very short. and got another bit of cable connected at the holder and brought back to the sterio for connecting. was better than running 3 seperate cables through the car.
