When i turn my wheel full lokc to the left to reverse into a space outside my house, as i go to biting point it seems to make this loud knock..

    Only does it once?

Any idea, normally only when i turn full lock

    Is the car lowered?
Mine does this sometimes and I was told it was the anti roll bar...
But its got worse now and does it a lot more often, checked it out and it was a damaged CV joint

It will be the cv joint, try and get it fixed asap. The longer you leave it the worse it will get.

    Ok cool, thanks!

Any idea on how much it should be?

Agree CV will click click click on full lock as the car is moving. Also front brake pads can be a bad fit in the caliper and move when braking in reverse hitting the caliper and causing 1 clonk sound.

Depends really, if your doing it yourself and need a new driveshaft the part is around 70-80quid.
A garage quoted me 120quid fitted for a driveshaft replacement

Basically i have a dead end but kerbs lowered either side so i drive up and reverse back, have to full lock it to the left to reverse it and when i do it makes 1 loud CLUNK.

Is this still the CV joint?
