Petrol smell coming from the air condition

   This morning i had to go pick up some family from the train station i was sat there with my engine running for about 5mins when i turned the heaters on and with that come the strongest smell of petrol ever. It wasnt the nice petroly (Not actually a word but hey! lol) smell it was like a white spirit/petroly smell.
   Any ideas??

   Have a look/smell for any damaged/loose petrol pipes firtly. It is more probably the rocker cover or crank case breather pipe off in engine bay. Have a look, should be easy to see.

   if you have an exhaust leak then the blowers can suck the exhaust fumes in and if the car was cold started then theres where your petrols coming from.

   The exhaust might make more sense actually because the other day when i was going over a speed bump i heard like a rattling sound come from under the car so maybe something underneath is loose
