    is it easy 2 change my water pump?

    Yes pretty simple, depends on how much engine work youve done before, if you havnt done any timing belts before then you need a guide to follow ideally

    mate, it would be easier to buy a complete engine and stick that in than change your water pump. anyway if you do decide to change it this is what i had to go through.

    Lol,

    Got mine out last week. Drilled several precision holes until I could pretty much take it apart in it's housing. Then yanked the remainder out.


    Mine is out on an engine stand though so wasn't particularly awkward.

    Hence its easier to drop a spare engine in if you had one. At least i know my VTR wont need timing/tensioner/wter pump changed for another 60k which to me is another 10 years!
