Fibreglass bonnet respray cost

  1. #1
Okay so ive had a quote on getting my fibreglass bonnet resprayed, its a standard fibreglass bonnet just with the grill smoothed out

    anyway, the quote was £350,

the place said they can remove all the little fibre lines, fix the 2 chips on the bonnet and match the paint 100%

    does £350 sound reasonable?

please only post from experience please

if its £350 inc vat then yes its reasonable i would do them at £200 plus vat at work

    that is including VAT,

you said you do £200 plus VAT... thats £235?

    means mines £115 more?

I would charge 200 + vat too.. remember a panel shop has larger overheads to cover, so the cost will be higher then someone doing it as a private job...
