compbrake quickshifter with xsport linkages

   Iv had my xsport linkages for about a year now and they have been fine but iv fitted a compbrake quickshifter today and was chuffed to bits with the result until i tried for 5th gear its like it wont go enough to the right i finally got it in i thought it might be ok now until the same happened in reverse when i got home and tried to park but this time i got it in reverse but could not get it out so i adjusted the shifter to standard hight and it was fine so iv got a quick shift that i cant use as a quick shift so do you think i can adjust the gear linkages for it to work when the gear stick is lowered.
