Battery Dimensions?

    Hi Guys,

    I've had a look in the FAQ but can't see it there . I've got a 2002 VTR, and it needs a new battery...

    What's the physical size of the standard battery? And will a bigger physical size fit on the tray?

    I've had a look online (it's raining so I CBA going outside!) and putting in the make/model some websites came up with "242mm x 175mm x 175mm" and others came up with "207mm x 175mm x 168mm" (Length x Width x Height) .

    It stopped raining so I went and had a look.

    The current battery says it's a 063, which would mean it's 207mm long x 175mm wide x 175mm high, and getting the tape measure out that looked to be true.

    The best one I can find in those dimensions is a Varta Silver Dynamic C6 (552 401 052 3162), which is 52Ah and 520CCA.

    Anyone used it or know of anything better?

    Fitted perfectly . And with 520CCA it starts the engine pretty quickly!
