after changeing my gearbox on my vts to a 1.4 i used the normal vts driveshaft but didnt last long as it ripped the tripod bearing apart so i replaced the shaft with a 1.1i and i think it was to short so its now ripping its self apart again, the gearbox has also got a hole were the shafts flew out and smashed it in, if i just bang a vtr gearbox on till get me going, will the vtr shaft be ok with a vtr gearbox as the vtr/s struts are the same?
