saxo mk2 vtr

   hi i have a saxo vtr mk2 i have a problem with it for sum reason when i first start it up it runs fine but after the car is warm it revs by itself on idle like it wants to cut out.i have replaced the coil pack and put new plugs in but still no luck yet have also cleaned the icv but if i unplug the plastic plug from the icv it seems to idle much better.i need the car moted but it would not pass an emissions test due to the erratic idle.would i need the plastic plug in fot the emissions test or would it fail because of that?

   have you tried the lambda sensor? or fuel realy?

   where about is the lambada sensor?

   im sure on the mk2 saxos its in the manifold, it should be sticking out. cant remember the size bolt holds it in.
