would it make a difference and fit?

   iv got a mk1 1.1, iv got a vtr sitting around with nice side impact, now i was wondering will putting the rear anti roll bar in my 1.1 make it handle any better?

   It will be worth doing, the 1.1 ARB is a right skinny effort

   1.1 arb is 18mm and the vtr is 22mm iirc

   ok, so if i go and get a anti roll bar from a vtr will i literally be able to pull mine out and slot the other one straight in?

   not as easy as just pulling out matey, obviously some can be seized etc... may need a slide hammer or another tool like it to pull it out...

   yeah i know its not always that easy, iv always just put i think its the top damper bolt in, tightened it then it pops off, but will the vtr one just fit straight into my mk1 1.1?

   Yep thats the easiest way to get the old arb out, just be careful not to damage the seals. To be fair if you can spare a few quid you may aswel change the 2 arb seals at the same time
   
   But yes it is a straight fit into the 1.1. Nice easy modification

    ahh, sweet, i know what im going to get tomorrow then how much should i be looking at paying at a scrappy? and will it make much of a difference? will it just have less body roll?

    in your 1st posts it says you have a vtr with side impact, so are you using tht or are you buying one...

    yeah i do mate, but its not massivly bad side impact, so was guna try it see if i feel any difference if nobody knew if it makes a difference or not then put it back in the vtr. im slowly sorting the vtr out, it was m cousins and hit my a tesco home delivery van, was enough to write it off, but im going t repair it, dented rear quarter panel scuffed door and the whole left vtr skirts are hanging off. but im not going to leave that with out the arb then go get another one, thats just making more work for me.
