Knocking noise

I can hear a knocking noise from the passenger side, there is slight play in the wheel, i've had the wheel off, and the trackrod ends seem fine and were only replaced a few months ago, driveshaft looks to be good.

It doesn't knock when i'm on really flat roads, what else copuld cause the knocking?

i had the same problem it could be the CV joint thas wha mine turned out to be although i had to get both sides raplaced total cost was 200quid depends how badly you want the noise to stop..

Perhaps something to do with the suspension?

I had a horrible knocking, and its been fixed with a new shock absorber.

Had exactly the same problem on mine mate and couldnt find it for ages. Changed wishbones, springs and shocks and still there. Fixed it today funnily enough and was a droplink. Hold the droplink and move it up and down. On mine i found the nut connecting the one on the passenger side to the strut was loose so made a knocking sound when going over bumps etc... Did this up and it now drives mint with no knock.

Hopefully it's that simple on yours mate!

maybe check the strut nut .

more than likely the bottom ball joint that's gone. I would also check the strut top bearing as these knock when they go too.
