clutch cable snapped!!

    as above.. it snapped just half an hour ago =[
    so obviously need to buy a new cable.. but are they easy to fit??

    yeah fairly. one side to the fork another to the pedal. but theres a reason its snapped.

    what the clutch tough and hard to push?

    no not really, clutch felt fine until it snapped obv.. changing down from 3rd to 2nd..
    a while clip has snapped.. it was on my footwell floor

    Hey, some little advise... What ever you do, dont buy the cheap ones from europarts, I bought a clutch cable from euro parts only to find out the white head bit is like thick compared to the one that had been snapped

    Pop down to the dealers and get a brand new one, Its about 31pounds and it'll fit straight on!

    Today has been the 6th day my saxo has been parked in the garage, only to find out I have got the wrong cable.

    Iv decided to find a mobile mechanic, just awaiting a quote including the part.
    How much am i roughly looking at?

    I got quoted something like £31 for the cable clutch from citroen dealers

    £25 pound to fit at my local garage.
