   hey hit a pot hole hard on the weekend jacked my car up an had a look and im not sure weather i need a new manifold or the bit after the manifold inbetween were my centre box used to be (whats that bit called ??) anyways the bracket at the bottom of the manifold hit the deck and has bent back and made a hole in the system aswell as lodging my exhaust up so it know knocks on my gear system any ideas wat im talkin bout any weather i need a new manifold or bit between manifold and centre box

   Your post is hard to read due to your punctuation but by the sound of it you need a new down pipe. The down pipe is the "L" shape bit that comes from manifold and sweeps under the car bolting to the gearbox before connecting to the rest of the exhaust. Think about £50.00 from memory including fitting mate.

   replace both mate if they both have visable damage
