drop links

    anyone got a guide on how to change drop links mine is knocking and doing my nut in. thanks given,fletcher

    Make the vehicle safe using axle stands. Unsrew the nut on the lower end of the drop link to the end of the anti-roll bar. You may have to use a crow bar to lever the anti-roll bar down to separate it from the drop link. Unscrew the nut holding the drop link to the suspension strut and then it is free to remove.
    Re-fitting is the complete reversal of the removal process.

    20 min job.. maximum. watch out for siezed bolts though

    the threaded bit of the droplink has an allen key socket in the end of it, so you will have to use an allen key to stop the whole thread from spinning around when you undo the nut with a spanner, some times its easier to just hacksaw or angle grid the nuts off

    angel grind the thing off when it start to seized
