heater console bulb type

   the bulb has gone in the heater control what type of bulb is it???

   It's the same as a side light which IIRC it's a 501 bulb

   Just checked on www.autobulbsdirect.com or .co.uk it's a fantastic little site, that's says interior is 501 too, guess I'm just gifted with knowledge when it comes to Saxos lol

   Its not a 501 bulb, i believe its a 286, check my posts i made a tut on how to change it

   Yer they seem to go alot and never be changed because of the hassel of unscrewing the centre console just to change a bulb, would recommend changing for an LED bulb as they last longer

   How easy is it to remove the centre console? I can't be assed with snapping it causing more problems

    just follow liams guide and you'll be fine. i used his guide and had no problems. i found it easier to remove the radio before starting and then the centre console just lifted straight out

    yea if u have real long spaggetti arms. just unscrew the 5 screws and take console off
