Fitting Clutch cable...

   Ive been trying to fit my clutch cable, but it just doesnt go through the bulkhead ... any ideas please?
   
   I think I might have to remove the rack which is causing it not to go in, would there be any problems if I jus loosened it and put it down a bit?
