petrol guage stuck

   Petrol guage is stuck,just wondering how to fix this or who to take it to.mechanic or auto technician.?

   it depends weather its the float in the tank or it could be the needdle stuck on your gauge. how much fuel was in it. see if you can put some more in and see if that moves the float.

   disconnect battery 4 30 min worked 4 me.

   I had none of my dials working at one point and just did this. I disconnected my battery for literally 30 seconds and it worked straight away... If it doesn't work this way then I don't know. =/

   try disconnecting the batter as its the easiest..quickest n cheapest option...
   
   if that doesnt work it will be a new sender unit or new clocks.. u can pick this up frm a scrappy for around 20 quid they are easy to change so dont waste money on takin it to a garage! £15 for a haynes manual will be well useful as it helped me change both alot!
