fuel relay switch

    is a fuel relay switch a citroen dealer only part or can i get it cheaper else where cos its £30+ plus vat new.

    Citroen only mate. Plenty about second hand, could be faulty again but worth a try for a fiver

    tryed 2 2ndhand relays on it & still getting the prob.when u r driving its as if u r bout 2 run out of fuel u lose all power the revs fall slowly then it cuts out. the pump is fine cos ive changed it 2 a 106 gti pump plus it runs g8 when its goin. on further investigation i opened up the relay & found that there is 2 switches in it 1 for the fuel pump & the other for sumthing that goes behind the the engine on 2 another multi pin plug it looks like sumthing 2 do wae the air flow.would that be a reason that bein faulty 2 the car cuting out ??????

    would the 2nd go to the lambda sensor? have you check that thats ok too?

    aye ive changed that to too mate, honestly theres nothing on this car ive no changed. had the cylinder head done too etc etc. this is really doing my head in & im planing on selling it but obviously that wont be happing till this is sorted. my neighbour is the service manager in peugeot & he said he'd bring home the laptop that plugs in under the dash to see if it flags up any faults, this is my last hope since nobody seems to be able to come up wae any ideas. so i'll keep you posted if it does
