door tape

   has anyone else's door tape stuff at the side of the door near the top flaked or craked mine has and woundering if anyone has had it re-done n is it hard to do??

   i just pulled mine off and i prefere it without. you can buy the new vinyl off ebay to replace it fairly cheap. as what i heard its fairly easy to replace with a bit of time

   Looks nicer if you take it off imo. Just open your window, heat up the strip with a hair dryer then it will peel straight off

   whats underneath it then just a black layer?? its just its cracked and looks terrible

   its the same colour as the car under it mate just dont watch but if its a old car then the paint would have faided abit and under that will be fresh paint so might look a little diff but yes i think it looks betta off

   did mine today as the previous owner must have put some newer ones on and they were bubbling and all cracked.
   looks bettter with them off and with my car been black it goes.
   As mentioned i heated them up with the hair dryer and when they were off i put some t-cut on the cloth and wiped the old glue straight off.
