Dump Valve, Blow of valve in intake

    orite i was just bored and wondering if you fitted a blow of valve onto the end of a ram air just before the induction, would you get the blow of valve sound,

    since there is still air trying to get forced down the induction it has no where to go so would go out the valve?

    the dump valve is used to get rid of waste gas which is produced by the turbo, any gas which the turbo produces over what is needed is let out through the valve

    if you really want the sound you can buy electronic dump valves (basically a speaker under the bonnet which makes the noise when you release the accelerator but its the chaviest thing you can do

    this is me face palming (when i was pretty drunk lol)

    lmao this is sooo funny because its soo true we all make the dump valve sound, i feel embarrassed to admit when im skiing i some times pretend im in a rally car drifting around the mountain haha

    I can understand where the idea comes from...

    When the throttle butterfly is closed, there's still air trying to be forced up the induction piping, thus forcing the valve open.

    But the reality is, there wouldn't be enough pressure in the pipe to open the valve, but, if it did work in the way you thought, it would be a case of:

    bwaaaarp tshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhh (till you got back on throttle) bwarp
