   im looking to order my cams tomorow for vtr, i was going to get a newman ph1 fast road cam? some people say it's not worth it?? is there a ph2? i see theres a ph3 & ph4. I want to know if you HAVE to have a remap on them? im not bothered about the lumpy idle just like performace will it still go well?

   ph1's are not worth taking the head off for mate. go for the ph3s, you do not have to get a remap but it will want setting up on the rolling road with a vernier pulley. you will see the full potenial with a remap though but its if youve got the funds

   why has it got to be on a rolling road to set up the vernier pulley? i have money to buy bits atm then ill think about getting a remap next month. i was looking at newmans fast road/tarmac rally? but it says it wont run on standerd injection is that right?

   The newmans ph3 will run on standard injection.
   
   the venier pulley sets up the engine timing. the rolling road is needed for remapping
