need help with induction kit

   just fitted a k&n 57i induction kit, fitted fine, but it makes no loud noise in first gear no matter how high i rev it but as soon as i go into second and like half throttle the sound kicks in.
   
   new to this stuff so if this is normal and meant to be like it i apologize.

   You got a picture of how you fitted it mate? k&n open cone induction kits are generally very loud

   i was speaking to some guy other day and he said something about cleaning somewhere on that thing on the left and spraying Wd40 in it or something he said it will make it rumble more any idea on what he means?

   mate that's what they tend to do. it's normal. 1st gear wont give much grunt at all noise wise, then second and the remaining gears should give a deeper noise. it's installed perfectly and there's nothing wrong with it.
