Can anyone reccommend any good springs for a VTR?
I'm a noob when it comes to lowering, i havnt a clue what i need.

I want to lower by 40mm, people tell me i only need front springs and the back can be lowered by the torsion bar? is this true?

also do i need shocks too? dont mind if i do.

sorry for nooby question, just really confused.

Also how much will a garage charge roughly for doing this?

    many thanks

If you have -40mm springs then the standard shocks will be ok.

KrisB is in Horsham, kind of near yours, he does lowering the correct way and alot cheaper than most garages. Post a message in his Affiliate page on here

Spax springs are ideal if you're going to lower 40mm

You can get away with keeping the standard dampers at this height, but if you have the extra money the Spax VSX kit is less than £200 and will be a much better improvement.

If you just lower with the springs dont expect a very good ride though

I want to buy the full set, dampers and springs!

    Sounds like the better deal!
