Problem :O Eeek!!

Erm, I took off the rocker cover to paint it, i sanded it down, and began painting it, all was swell until i had to nip out for a little errand.

I had to put my rocker cover back on and have my car ready to drive, i slammed it on and loosely tightened the bolts. As i was driving i could smell alot of oil coming from the bonnet, and it was smoking!!?? My mate undoubtdly thought that i hadn't tightened the bolts enough, so i pulled over and tightened the bolts, unfortunatly I over tightened them and the bolt heads flew off, not learning from one side i tried to counteract the mistake and tighten the other side so i could get it somewhere to deal with it. And hey presto the second bolt head came flying off. So im left with two threads stuck into the fittings with no bolt heads.

What should i do? Any help plz P.s BMC CDA Induction Kits are expensive, anyone know a decent site or something to get a full kit from, inclusive of the cold air feed.

    Cheers for reading, Joe x

If your not good with cars (as it sounds, no offence) then get someone to come look at it. Try not to drive it.

Look at Kam racing for induction kits or get 100posts and look in the for sale section on here.

And this should be in the problems section mate

Another quick question, anyone know of where i can get a new rubber sealent for my rocker cover, or on that note a new one? I've pretty much bodged the whole job and the RAC won't touch me because im inside a 1/4 mile radius from my home.... FAIL. None the less, gimme a shout.

    Cheers again, Joe

I got mine £6 from GSF. Any motor factors have them, if you pay more than £8 you paid too much.
