saxo 1.1 downpipe problems...

   hi all, had a really rusty and bolloxed downpipe, bought a new one from halfords and all ive had is fucking hassle since...
   
   snapped one bolt off the manifold and drilled it out, it was slightly off centre but should have been ok, i cant seem to tighten it up enough so theres always a gap? between manifold/downpipe? im assuming its just faulty and i need to throw it at halfords? really annoying as im short on money, just barely scraped enough for that downpiipe and now looking at a new manifold an all...
   
   anyone got any other ideas or is it my only choice? lol, cheers all

   I don't see how it can be faulty tbh. I would take the car to the local kwik fit and get them to sort it mate. They have a ramp, tools, experiance and all the gubbins to fix it hopefully. Hope you get sorted
