Bonnet Latch

    Im Having problems with the bonnet latch not releasing when i pull it from the passenger side. anybody had any problems like this? Because now i cant fill up the water or check oil. And i just wondered if i could save myself a few pounds by not taking it to a garage.

    Get someone to apply pressure to the bonnet at the front in the middle while you pull the catch. Once bonnet is open properly clean (wd40 or similar) and relube the catch and make sure that the cable does not have to much slack in it (to much slack means it will not be able to operate the mechanism).
