ye its all matt metalic red..might do a clear coat on the top tho..just to seal the paint..cos when the paint gets wet the paint comes off when u dry it..gives me something to do lol
  18. #18
    Looks Really good mate
  19. #19
Use 'Autoglym Vinyl and rubber care', spray it everywhere and when it dries the whole bay will be shiny.

    Looks good...must do mine sometime!

    Nice mate
  22. #22
    very nice m888!!
  23. #23
didnt take long..cover took bout 30 mins..and another 30 mins to do the rest..then put back togeter..took about hour and a half all together..paint dries quick as well..or get the hair dryer on it and will dry extra fast

matt and metallic at the same time???

matt meaning no shine and metallic meaning metalised ie shiney... now theres an unusual paint!

Looks pretty good all in all but im concerned that the rubber hose you have sprayed really wont last long at all as its not supposed to be painted!?

Looks pretty sweet all in all! wish mine only took me 2 hours! I spent that long alone spraying the ECU cover and steering rack cover lol
  25. #25
Looks nice, paint the air filter too
  26. #26
What paint was used for the cam covers?
  27. #27
its a very high temp paint..its matt metalic red..meaning its matt red with glitter flakes in it
  28. #28
need to get this done asap with mine. keep on seeing nice looking colour coded engine bays like yours that just put my dirty grotty engine bay to shame. its craving some tlc and elbow grease.
    looks good... well done.
