Are Mk1 needles supposed to be lit up?

   At night i can barely see my mk1 needles. are they meant to be lit up like on the red mk2 needles?

   try keeping the trip meter stalk thing pushed in, it will make the dial brighter or darker.

   the mile reset stalk? how do you keep it pushed in?

   on my mk2 i had a stalk and iirc if you put your finger on it and kept it pushed in it dimmed or brightenend the dash lights.

   ahh i think its different with mk1's. ive got a little dimmer switch by my right knee near the headlight adjuster.
   
   o yeah that silver vtr bumper with the laguna splitter made itself at home very nicely lol
