VTS turbo???

having got used to my standard vts now am now starting to think of tuning it to get more power. thought the best way to get more power would be a turbo but also at same time want to set about it properly rather than just buy a turbo kit and bodge it in to see what happens - any1 out there who has either done such a conversion or knows the best way to go about the conversion properly please shed some light on this for me as engines arent really my thing - stereos are lol

well first off you'll have re-mortgage your house and the rest is history

ok well dont have a mortgage - i know enough that i cant just bolt a turbo kit on a standard engine as most the internals probably not built to take the extra power etc

low boost can be done for around £2k i believe if you diy it on a budget.
basically you need to lower compression and increase fueling. theres the right way, and the cheap way ill let you search for the rest

£3k, no need to lower compression, 180bhp 165lbsft on a stock VTS 16v.

You may choose on top of that to upgrade the clutch, it's on the verge with the stock one.
