#6If its any help the 2 bolts on the drivers side, drive shaft hold the intermediate bearing in place. The bolts have off set heads, to release them you are meant to undo the nuts at the back of the bolts slightly and then push the bolts out turning them approx 90 degrees. However if that does not work take the nuts off the bolts and push the bolts out as far as they go. If the car is old the driveshaft is an absolute bitch to get out unless you have the correct tool. Another way of getting the shaft out without shagging the cv joints (by pulling / yanking on it trying to get it out) is to un-bolt the actual intermediate bearing mount holder theres 3 bolts to this, if this is done the shaft simply falls out so be careful not to drop it.
Hope this helps. -
#7there is a small locating pin on the intermediate bearing they corrode over time go from the top with a pry bar and pop it out just give it a good pull and it will come out
