Middle pipe hanger broke

    Hi all,

    My middle pipe silencer mounting bracket had snapped off somehow. I will be getting a new straight through pipe soon so don't fancy paying to get it welded and the mounting bracket is still on the car so does anyone have any ideas on a quick fix for the time being as it keeps scraping over bumps.

    2 jubilee clips...

    one around the pipe, then the other between the jubilee clip and pipe which will hang from the hanger on the chassis

    As frankie said, that can work for a quick fix. Mine broke same place, jus used some string of a JD bag for temp fix lol

    The rubber is still on the car hanger, would you slide a jubilee clip through that or put one on the exhaust and one directly onto the chassis hanger?

    Yeah do as above buddy. one round the pipe and the other from that to the rubber, last thing you want to do is heat damage the rubber tbh.

    if its not that rusty and is able to weld.. it would cost you next to nothing to get done.
