Ignition barrel swap

   Hi,
   
   I've just taken the igntion barrel out of my car (from under the steering wheel) and it still has the 3 main wires attached.
   
   I need to transfer these wires onto a new igntion barrel but cant see how to seperate from the old barrel.
   
   Any ideas?

   Is it out of a mk1 saxo ?
   When you say 3 wires, do you mean 3 connectors with 2 wires to each?
   If yes to above, then there is a tiny torx screw underneath the barrel.
   Unscrew this and then gently seperate the front and back about an inch. Then the white plastic part with 6 wires attached should be able to lift out.
   Be aware there is a tiny spring bit that can jump out, so do the job on a clear surface just in case. First time I did this,I lost the little sod.
