Possible Induction Kit Problemo

   Hi all,
   
   I have just purchased one of these, basically a cheaper version of a BMC CDA
   
   However I fear I have over looked a little issue :/
   
   I have a catch tank which is fine but my car also has an idle vacuum hose, I cant see anywhere to connect it to the filter?
   
   Only thing I can think of is I have a Raceland Induction Kit laying around, if I nick the pipe off the side of that and make it fit into the hosing I will be using to fit the kit, would that work?
   
   Otherwise it's an ebay job

   connecting idle vacuum hose to an air filter? I dont have anything connected to my air filter and its been running spot on for the last 2 years?

   My vacuum hose goes into the top of my inlet manifold past the tb

   As you can see there is a pipe on the back of the air filter which Im pretty sure is an Idle vacuum hose? I need to connect it to something surely?
   
   (Btw I know my catch tank tubing is too small, I have the correct size in the post )

   Im sure before on here someone said you will get a lumpy idle if its not connected to the air filter in some way?

   that could be right because my idle is not very good but iv seen it done before and i think there cars have been running ok

   Only thing I can think of is to try and modify my hosing connecting the filter to the TB is some way so that the hose can attach to it?

    put a pair of tights around the end so it doesnt suck any rubbish in or go halfords and get a crank case filter

    Problem is though the car wont idle right if its not on the air filter

    mine idled fine when it wasnt attached to the airfilter carnt you modify your new one to make it fit ?

    Well I have a little filter in the post that I bought for my catch tank, I will have to try it and see what happens.
    
    If it doesn't idle properly I will have to try and modify the induction hosing to let the vacuum hose get the air running through the filter

    ive got the same problem mate, infact i put a thread on here last week to find out what to do with the pipe as i didnt have a clue but found a photo on here that shows someone as sorted it out there self.

    sorry mate just checked the message he sent me and he just put a breather filter on it.
    confused me thats why i think im gonna go for the pipecross one.
    if you manage to get it figured out mate let me no lol.

    I will try my idea and see if it work's then report back, hopefully it will arrive sometime this week.
