LMAO how'd you manage that ?!

New/second hand fuel tank time - you don't want to be messing about trying to seal up a fuel tank !

    Its a new tank job

I would not even attempt to seal it with anything

I know people who have drilled into far worse. Mate of mine couldnt get an oil filter off an old Morris Minor, ended up drilling straight through the block somehow. Dealership mechanics, you get what you pay for, courtesy sweets and retarded mechanics

we had a vw golf come in to the garage and sumone had drilled the boot to drain the water out of it and drilled right through the fueltank. so wejust put a pop rivet with an o-ring below it as a temp repair. think its still like that today several years later.

Lol, you can't increase the pressure through the drill, any compressor will not have a boost button lol, the drill bit speed is controlled by the trigger as its a valve on there not controlled by the compressor *sniggers*

sorry can't help i little giggle, bet you will have a giggle about it in 4 months time. FAIL!
  22. #22
no mate, the trigger on the drill lets an amout of air though, so say the conpressors putting 4 bar down the pipe and you have trigger down half drills using 2 bar of power, then if you open the valve on the conpresser to let more pressure out then pressure in the line cud be say 8bar, still using half pressure drill will be using 4bar of pressure not 2, = gona go faster

either way? drilling above the fuel tank?

what was the point in the hole?

hope you get it sorted though dude!! bet you wont do it again!
