Hi Guys got a strange one here! When i drive along ive got a clicking noise coming from the front left of the car? It gets alot louder when i take my foot of the accelerator pedel. When i disengage the clutch the noise stops.

I've got a very similar problem but its only when i let of the accelerator in gear. If i press the clutch or accelerator it goes away.

I was told there was a small pin in the clutch or gear box or some think that is a common fault on saxo's but never got round to looking at it.

my saxo vtr 99 did this. Its not great news. Seemed to drive fine but had this noise, it was very bad one day on the motorway, such a noise that people were looking at me like wtf lol anyway, I had this noise for about 2 weeks before the clutch just gave up, no slipping, no warning just gone one morning when I got in and tried to drive it. My advice is get the clutch and gearbox checked, but start saving for a new clutch asap
