Try to get your hands on a enclosed induction kit, there a wee bit more expensive but from what i've been told n abit of revision through the threads n stickies, your probably better off getting one of those as apposed to a cone filter etc, as these generally intake warm oxygen from your engine bay.

Remember, warm air is more dense = less power output, the less dense the air i.e. cold air fed through a feed into a enclosed kit, = higher power output.

I was told to look at BMC CDA kits, there in the region of 130-150. Pricey i know but would probably do you better than a standard cone. Mind you if i get hold of a BMC kit i'll flog you my K&N one, all it needs a lil clean

Warm air is less dense then cold air hence warm air rises whilst cold air always falls.

back on topic: £50-60 isnt a lot to spend. Whats wrong with sticking with original box and upgrading air feed with a better panel air filter?
