Hi,
Can you buy any air filter and attach a separately bought cold air feed for it?

Yep, cold air feed is basically just some sort of flexible piping. As long as you get the size correct you can fit away

so it doesnt have to be connected to the induction kit im gunna buy? it connects to my standard air intake thing?

yes. it just
feeds
cold air to the induction
so a bit of pipeing from the front of the car, to the induction.
so that the induction element is drawing in cold air,
not
the hot air that would be around it from the engine.
