4 - 1 + Decat on a VTS?

Just been doing some reading etc...

A decat will move the peak torque higher up in the rev range... any noticeable difference low down?

Is the new kam 2 1/4" system.

Also will be fitting 708's so guessing a 4 - 1 is better?

Right in saying all of my gains will be up in the higher rev range? 4 - 5k?

Dont fancy the low end suffering

if the 708 is good higher up the power range then yea you will want a 4-1 manifold
"The 4-1 manifold design optimises the power-band of your engine to where you need it most for the track environment."

Theres nothing wrong with having 708's with a 4-2-1 though as that way the 4-2-1 will help lower down, and the 708's will improve higher up. That's what i'm doing anyway

Feel free to slate me, but with a mildly standard VTS engine with 708s/ similar cams, I doubt you'd notice any difference between a 4-1 and 4-2-1.

Tbf, ide never tell the difference since i dont intend to be caring about where the power kicks in etc etc.

Its more just to know ive got the best it possibly can be
