Rear Tow Eye

   Whilst it's on my mind after just reading a thread and seeing someone with a sprayed rear tow eye, my question is:
   
   Can you remove the rear tow eye so you can spray it in the colour you want or do you have to spray it whilst it's still on the car?.
   
   Not spending much on the car now until i come back off holiday in August but wanting to do small bits and bobs i.e. tow eye, rocker cover etc.

   Its welded to the chassis leg, needs to be done in situ.

   its actually part of a chassis, just mask off the rear of the car

   Or take the rear bumper off...
