Named Exhaust system or Powerflow Custom made

I'm getting a echaust system on Friday , but I don't know which one to get. I can get a full stainless steel custom made with a powerflow back box for £140 , and I can have it sound as I want it too. On the other hand I've been told peco or piper are a good kind off system but there quite expensive!

    Help me people..

I have had a powerflow on my saxo now for over 2 YEARs and I can honestly say its very good sounds just what I want and sits how I want, my car does not feel like its lost any performance at all.. I had one them magnex before and it just did not do it for me.. My powerflow feels and sounds much better imo,

But its down to what you want. I feel I will always have a powerflow..

When you meet the guys who are fitting it for you dont just say yes to the first one you see.. Have lil sit down and look at all the exhaust that they offer.. And the more you tell them what you want, the happier you will be with it all

i had a one made up by powerflow when i had the quicky and the build quality seems to be a bit hit and miss with them personaly i would save up and get a piper system or saxsport

the last one that I saw made by powerflow - the installer didnt' know what a mandrel bend was.. and I doubt the welds were gas purged.

It may fit.. but these details are what separates the okay exhausts from the good ones

People who NEVER HAD A POWERFLOW will always say there no good.. But untill they do then they really cant comment.. And they will always listen to other ppl.. Its cheaper and easier to get one off the shelf..

A full system?, the bloke said it would be 260 quid for the full system, it's 140 for just the backbox matey.

its worth talking to the people that will be custom making the exhaust and see if they seem to know what they are talking about. Also gain reviews about the specific place you are going rather than general views on a company.

I have a mongoose backbox and the centre section was shagged to bits. I took it to a place called pipecraft in basildon who came reccommended, and spoke to the guy who seemed to know his stuff. He made me up a custom straight through centre section and modded the back box to fit, only left it with him for an hour or two and most of that time he was finishing off another customers car. Reasonable price and great quality, thanks to me doing some research beforehand.

once you get the price from them and think they will be a good place to go to, compare the price to some of the good quality systems that are tried and tested. If the price measures up well against them then make the decision

powerflow, the exhausts there are bent to the same shame as the saxo one, with random boxes placed upon them, i would put money on it, that no of them have ever been tested for performance.

i had a saxo with one on before, and it was worst the the chinoble disaster...

piper, magnex, SS systems are probably tested for performance, and have very high build quality.
