unlocking a ecu with keypad immobiliser?

   right im breaking a 1.1 peugeot 106, its on a p reg and has the keypad immobiliser
   
   im lookin to make sure the ecu is unlocked before removal im just wondering how its done or will it be locked at all?

   well the easy way to unlock an ecu is to start the car and pull out the imobiliser out (thats if key pad immobilisers have the same little black box imobiliser as my vtr)

   thats what i was wondering as i was reading up on it but this one has no chip in the key just the keypad!

   well the easiest way to find out is to just shove your hand up behind the dash and see if there is an immobiliser there
