Spacers and snapping bolts?

just a quick one, when i asked the bloke that sorts wheels out n shit about spacers he was quick to tell me that it could be a bad idea as hes had a few people come back with bolts snapped, anyone had this happen to them? using general knowledge they wont snap with the more expensive hubcentrics? im on about the ones that have the correct bore and supporting lip but the holes are universal, if that makes sense? like these

the shit ones will, as all the weight and pressure is transferred onto the bolts.

where as hubcentric ones take the pressure and weight, and the bolts are just there to secure the wheels to the hub.

even with the centre bore lip? cheers mate

the non hubcentric ones sit on the hub, but the wheels is on the bolts...

where as hubcentric sit on the lip of the hub, but also have another lip which takes the weight and acting forces of the wheels
