Rough power levels with these mods?

Was wondering what sort of power levels/0-60/1/4mile times of my car once its had its GTI conversion.

Its a rebuilt 106 gti 1999 spec engine.
With stage 3 gas flowed head, ported and polished throttle body, bmc cda, 4-2-1 manifold, fully stainless steel decatted, reprofiled cams, L and B flywheel, valeo clutch and a predator ecu

Its also will have a vts gearbox

What can i expect? Don't know exact weight of car but it has sparco sprint 5 buckets and removed spare wheel also looking at getting poly rear windows.

At the mo its demolished my mates 206 gti 138 so happy with that lol

never can guess, around 140 to 145 at a guess!

what cams, re profile camshafts are not that good, or did you mean uprated cams like 708?

but these thread a pointless, as you can really guess at this.

This is what dyno's are for, and even then it can be misleading comparing two different types of dyno print outs

  4. #4
    They are just reprofiled camshafts...
  5. #5
    re profile from standard camshafts?
  6. #6
    Believe so yeah..
  7. #7
you say it demolished a 206 gti but i would expect any vts/gti to beat a 206, has less bhp per tonne
  8. #8
206 gti ent that gd, also re profile standard vts cams will not gain that much!

say about 135ish, depends on what dyno you go on.
  9. #9
Probably about the same as a standard gti
  10. #10
re profile cam is that they wil take the peak down to give more duration,
i think doing this will lose a little peak lift,

wil not see much though that.

I'd guess about 140bhp, but these threads are pointless and a waste of time.

yea there wouldnt be too much in it

16v's are about 132 bhp per tonne
vtrs are about 107 bhp per tonne
206 gti's are about 125 bhp per tonne

Think i just cos i have good tyres and a good launch on good tarmac lol
  18. #18
yea a lot of considerations would have to be made, you could have a very well looked after vtr and the 206 could be on 150kmiles without a service lol
