No i havent but i think the last owner of my saxo had the flashy sound system in the boot that may have harmed my battery. Its just a shock considering the car started up fine ever since i have had it but today nothing happened atalll...im not even getting any lightson the dash atall.

Get a jump start, or charge the battery with a battery charger, If you get the same problem maybe your alternator isnt charging the battery. Best getting it checked out if thats the case.

Jump start has worked but i do think my alternator might be faulty. How can you check the alternator?

take it for a run and then turn off your engine see if it starts again or take it to the garage and they will put a test on the bettery to see if it charging

DAMN i dont have a multi meter what kind of readings would you be looking for with the multimeter? I can get a shot of one i think. I only know how to test for Continueity and Insulation resistance. Im pretty sure you would stress te coils with voltage but how much voltage? Correct me if im wrong i really have no idea what im speaking about...but im willing to learn
